back at the beginning of the year hereford gave birth one of my favorite skateparks, now 9 months later the park is being extended as seen below in an earlier post, this also jogged my memory and i remembered a little sunday stooge we had just after faze one of the park was complete

i know this might be old news to most of you but wales only indoor vert ramp has been hacked down to an 8foot midi ramp, really sad to see it in this state, its been cut down and left without platforms?, well done…
if you hit the park up please nag the tits out of the guys that work there to at least finish off the work to the ramp so its skate-able during the winter.
ps, also ask them to pay their electricity bill so we can have proper lighting, the generator kept breaking down yesterday putting the whole park in darkness

It’s all happening down at herefords skate park with faze 2 well underway, should be done by christmas, hopefully we’ll get some good weather to go with it…

£22,000 boost for Haverfordwest skate park
Plans for a skatepark in Haverfordwest have been boosted by a donation from Narberth Skate Group which has lost its fight for a similar facility in its town.
The Haverfordwest Skatepark Association (HSA) received £22,863 from the group, pushing the funds raised for a park in the county town over the £100,000 mark.
At a recent presentation to the Garage Youth Centre in Haverfordwest, member of Narberth Skate Group, Val Bradley, presented a cheque to HSA chairman Simon Griffiths, who said the money “will go a long way.”
Val said: “We are very disappointed but if this means a skatepark will happen in the area it’s better than no skatepark at all. There appears to be a lot of enthusiasm and commitment in this group. We got a long way before we realised we were banging our heads against a brick wall, so to speak.”
The HSA, which became a registered charity this month, has been visiting youth groups across the county to canvass opinion on the need for a skatepark and to update young people on the designs and progress made by the group.
Designs for the 50 metre by 30 metre skatepark on Picton playing fields have been finalised by Maverick, a specialist skatepark design and build company.
HSA secretary Alison Turner said: “We have had more than 800 responses and had a really positive response. Overwhelmingly it is a ‘yes’ at the moment.”
She added that gaining planning permission and continued fundraising were the group’s next priorities.
During the presentation, HSA spokesman Geraint Williams said the HSA would continue to push for an up-to-date, high-quality, well-designed skatepark to enhance leisure options in the county.
